Update: April 15th 2:00pm pacific - The carpool was finally let in after almost 5 hours waiting in line and being searched.

Update: April 15th 1:37pm pacific – Kevin reports he is waiting in line to enter the festival and has been waiting since 9am with about 200 other cars. Cars are being searched one-by-one.

My good friend Kevin is making the trek to California this year for Coachella.

Heres a new release from Science & Industry that’s just in time for Summer and filled with musical magic. In the summer of 2008 Greenskeepers founder and head honcho James Curd and JDub got together with their friend Chris Holmes of in a Chicago basement and a big purple funhouse in Los Angeles to make some musical magic. The result of their hotbox alchemy is Science & Industry, a throbbing, pulsating, club beast bent on inducing global dancefloor euphoria. Their debut EP Let Go, Let’s Go on Liar Liar Records is their first and features a little help from LA based vocalist Marie Herald. Pounding rhythms and electro powered basslines anchor shimmering keys, edgy guitars, and ephemeral voices to create a synthesis of darkness and light, fantasy and reality, post-modern paranoia and unrelenting optimism.

There’s no music video yet but we will keep you posted if one is released.
